The Economic Development Department of the City of El Paso has a loan program for small businesses.  The City/County Joint Revolving Loan Fund is a financing resource for small businesses to obtain the full amount of financing requested with a very low interest rate.  The small business owner has to have an approved loan with a local participating lender of at least two thirds of the loan amount requested.  The lender would approach the RLF Fund for the remainder up to $100,000.  The main requirement of the loan program is to create one job for every $25,000 that is lent.  The business owner has a year to execute.
