Italian Style, America’s largest “Made in Italy” Expo, will be presented in Houston for the first time from Friday, September 25 through Sunday, September 27 at George R. Brown Convention Center’s Hall B.  The event is hosted by the Italy America Chamber of Commerce-Texas and is under the auspices of the Office of the Consul General of Italy in Houston.

The expo is held annually in Chicago and due to its great success there, it is proudly expanding to Texas for the first time this year. I

This full-scale, luxury expo showcases the best of Italy in the areas of food, wine, tourism, design, fashion, art and entertainment.   The program will include Fashion Shows, Art, Language classes, cooking classes, wine education and tasting demostration, dance, music concert, opera.

Over 100 companies from Italy and the U.S. will be exhibiting.  The Expo includes an entertainment schedule that features daily fashion runway shows, fencing demonstrations, dance performances, Italian language classes for all ages, musical concerts, and daily raffles sponsored by Continental Airlines for a chance to win a trip to Italy. In addition, the Porta Portese Market, a replica Italian street market area where businesses will be selling a variety of Italian-themed items ranging from antique, vintage, and handcrafted pieces to trendy and new products.

Italian Style is an event where international business encounters will take place, as well as an exhibit for the public to see the excellence of high-quality fashion apparel and luxury design, taste Italy’s world-renowned wine & cuisine, and dream up your next Italian getaway with our tourism experts, all while enjoying the cultural entertainment.
